运笔机灵熟虑埋 , 淡浓随意墨方谐。文同幻化趋无象 , 郑燮清癯竹更佳。

Bamboo Painting【Translated by Charles Wu】

With a bamboo picture in mind, the painter wielded his pen.

Harmoniously, he applied Chinese ink now and then.

The abstractionism painter, “Wen-tong” drew its spirit.

Painting its thin appearance, “Zheng-xie” got all the credit.
