電動微窺鏡 ; 刀伸巧摘瘤。昌明醫技在 , 百歲不難求。

Intestine Tumour【By Charles Wu】
To cure my hemorrhoids, I saw the surgical doctor.
After checking my large intestine, he found a cancer.
As such, I made a will about my wealth to my children.
I cracked joke without worry as all my things had been done.
In the operation, an electronic endoscope was used.
The tumour was cut but my intestine was not bruised.
Thanks for the modern medical technology.
People could live for one hundred years and still healthy.

騰霧似蒼虬 , 氤氳遍野疇。岫雲籠逸樹 ; 霞氣襲迷樓。
遮日隨塵漫 ; 從風逐水浮。渚煙晨帶白 , 凝碧隱江舟。

River Fog【By Charles Wu】
Thick fog danced like a dark green dragon.
It spread over farmland under the mountain.
Trees looked more mysterious in its embrace.
Early mist shrouded the house and swallowed its staircase.
With the cloud, it blinded the sun and mixed with the dust.
The wind made it float on the river and then focused
above the sandy islands with white smoke in all mornings.
Congealed along the jade reed, it hid boats in their moorings.

The rocket pens draw a beautiful mansion

Where fairy throws pretty silk balls in heaven.

Electric drum of the thunder is beaten.

Maria shows her colorful coat and apron.

God is pleased to watch such glittering event.

Leaving home the timid virgin may repent.

Her body fades when she continues to soar.

Yet she makes up her mind for this merry tour.

喜雨滂沱至 , 攜涼夏若秋。清塵滋草木 ; 潤土澤田疇。

淅瀝垂檐瓦 ; 喧豗驚鷺鷗。敲窗君欲醉 ; 滴葉竹含羞。

韻妙催詩發 ; 情深把客留。停杯閒共賞 , 剪燭話神州。

Watching The Rain【By Charles Wu】
Torrential rain comes timely and I am so happy.
The weather turns cool like autumn yet not so gloomy.
All plants look fresh while dusty ground becomes clean
The soil is moistened and all seedlings in farmland turn green.
The patter of raindrop on the roof is a good music.
Sometimes, the noise startles birds above the attic.
It knocks the windows yet we like to hear such sound.
Dripped with water, bamboo stands shyly on the playground.
Its rhythm gives inspiration to poet chanting poem.
I ask my friend to stay overnight as I am lonesome.
We stop drinking wine but start to enjoy the rain.
Lighting more candles, we discuss news in China again.

三峽欲重遊 , 蹉跎幾度秋。怡情翻舊照 ; 旅跡入明眸。
奉節夒門峭 ; 衢塘鬼斧愁。桓侯崇義廟 ; 白帝託孤樓。
棧道人蹤渺 ; 摩崖石刻留。和番妃子怨 ; 去國屈原憂。
巴霧寧河聚 ; 西陵急水流。巫山晴乍雨 ; 神女喜還羞。
寶劍兵書隘 ; 移船葛壩洲。空濛奇險絕 , 景美不勝收。

The Tour To Three Gorges【By Charles Wu】
I tried in vain to re-visit the three gorges.
For the past few years, I made other choices.
The old photographs brought me joyous memory.
I was cheerful in reviewing the previous journey
The rocky precipice at “Feng-jie” stood high and steep.
“Qu-tang” gorge made all craftsmen want to weep.
To honour the loyal “Zhang-fei”, people built a temple.
“Liu-bei” entrusted his son to “Zhu Ge-liang” in his castle.
No tourist was found on the plank road built in ancient time.
At the cliff, all studied the inscription of verse with rhyme.
An imperial beauty blamed her king for the blind wedding.
The banished “Qu-yuan” wrote patriotic poems, so touching !
Thick fog from “Si-chuan” was shrouding on the ”Ning” River.
In “Xi-ning” gorge, tourists were amazed by the rapid water.
At Mount “Wu”, it was fine one minute but rainy the next.
The shy fairy maiden therein was happy yet highly-sexed.
In the mountain pass, rocks like rare book and sword could be seen.
At last, the ferry arrived “Ge-zhou” Dam. What a grand scene !
Misty! Good! Thrilling! Splendid! None could conclude its essence.
The scenery was too pretty to be described all at once.

Pestilence prevailed thus all shops had no business.
Autumn came and there was no more serious sickness.
Moistened by dew, chrysanthemums bloomed in our garden.
They gazed amorously to the north of our nation.

To be a Buddha is difficult but we should not avoid.
Buddha believes that the four elements of the world are void.
Melancholy must be caused by ourselves in our lifetime.
We should learn to be carefree and happy in the meantime.

Their radiance of tenderness is brighter than the sky.

Robes of purple, white, gold and red are worn in their body.
Preaching Buddhism, they are modest, carefree and happy.

The highest Canadian Tower is just wonderful.
You can enjoy good food and scenery by the table.
Everything looks perfect but this is not my country.
I shall leave this fairy land after seeing its beauty.

Up to now, Xia-men is the beauty spot I like most.
Ancient buildings are seen near Gu-lang Island seacoast.
View looks better when you climb up and feel exhausted.
At Rocky Peak, flying gulls can be clearly counted.

In a high building, I enjoy the breeze and scenery.
I am caught by the carmine fruits of the pomegranate tree.
Graceful wind caresses its leaves looking vividly green.
The fruits are so abundant that all its branches lean.
Its red tube flowers are prepared to contend in beauty.
Nodding each other, its buds bend forward briskly.
People deem it as a symbol of mass production.
Those who pick its fruits are the jumping naughty children.

In Canada, we had a family reunion.
Parting for many years, I was glad to see my children.
In the crude new house, there was a warming party.
The daily trivial matters were discussed so gently.
My second daughter held my hands and asked if I felt cold.
My son-in-law drove me home and kind words were told.
Delicious foods had been prepared by my wife.
What more should I ask for in such a happy life !

I was prepared to visit Taiwan for a week.
My plan had failed as my websites were at their peak.
Couplet competitions were held in three places.
I was busy to compose some poetic phrases.
My articles were posted in forums round the earth.
Widening my eyesight, I aimed at writer of worth.
I hesitated to meet poet friends for this reason.
Amongst young authors, I was a gray-haired person.

Dragon Boat Race【By Charles Wu】
Which team wins the championship in the Dragon Boat Race ?

During the first event, many pretty girls play their ace.

The ladies paddle so hard that they become all sweaty.

With the rhythmic sound of the drum, they shout so sweetly.

The concubine, then the Tang Queen should put her heart at ease.

Qu-yuan is glad though he is a difficult man to please.

Men and women now enjoy the equal right without grumble.

Female astronaut will drive spacecraft in the next Festival.

古剎開元朝巨佛 ; 名橋湘子摸神牛。鰻場燒烤魚鮮味 , 茶藝沁園春最優。

Re-visit Chao-zhou & Shan-tou【By Charles Wu】
All of us travelled again through “Hou-men”  to “Shan-tou”.
Steamed goose and sea food tasted better than those of “Chao-zhou”.
In “Lu-feng”, people repaired their “Xuan-wu” temple timely.
“Chen” families had built their famous house since “Qing” Dynasty.
We worshipped the ancient “Kei-yuan” Buddha just for fun.
A touch of the holy ox would bring us good fortune.
In a farm, we ate some delicious barbecued eel.
The tea show at “Qin-yuan-chun” was but a commercial deal.

The Tour To “He-nan”【By Charles Wu】
In “He-nan”, tourists may investigate ancient object.
They can enjoy the Yellow River in ”Zhengzhou” direct.
Copper articles of “Yin” Dynasty amaze all Chinese.
The boxing played by “Shao-lin” monks is the best in all cities.
“Long-men” is a famous place with stone statues of Buddha.
The well-known judge, “Bao Zhen” was born at “He-nan” in China.
At “Luo-yang”, tourists visit the White Horse monastery.
Abbot died and the present one cannot tell good story.

The elegant ancient woods tower over the sky.
Tourists enjoy the sunrise on Mount “Ali” so high.
The sun looks red at first and turns to be silvery bright.
Its ray is so brilliant that makes everything white.
Through the rosy clouds, it shines the beauty of the mountain.
The clouds then swallow all peaks and fly in million.
In Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, all watch the scene so grand.
The sun goes to the west and falls in love with the mainland.

I visit my old acquaintances in Sydney freely.
My friends and relatives show their kind hospitality.
We take a walk in Chinatown there and go shopping.
To explore the beauty at Manley, our boat is sailing.
The Opera House can be seen clearly near the bridge.
Pelican is found at shallow sea walking like ostrich.
We see rainbow on the waterfall near Three Sisters Rock.
The fairyland at Blue Mountain gives us a great shock.
