When losing, you even blame the groom and booker.
One of the jockeys spreads the message for sure win.
Placing bet on him means throwing money to the bin.

At the lake of Chun-an, one thousand islands float.
It looks like a jade mirror with sailing boat.
Local people cultivate these small pieces of land.
To entertain tourists, snakes coil and monkeys stand.

In Pan-yu, Clifford Villa is a famous estate.
All houses are built with blue tile eaves with silver gate.
Laughter and light music can be heard everywhere.
Songs of birds and insects are sung near the trees there.
Gymnastics can be done inside the luxurious club.
Else, your friends can be entertained in your own pub.
You may go shopping and try various foods as you like.
Or you can play mahjong, chess game and ride a bike.

遊河遇雨客衣濡 , 撲面敲舷跳沫珠。萍舞篷吟聲淅瀝 ; 煙浮浪湧野模糊。
烏雲驟散清風至 ; 白日重光碧水鋪。世事無常誰可料 , 嬌陽乍現眾歡呼。

Shower【By Charles Wu】
Touring the river, we were drenched by the shower.
The raindrops attacked the passengers like bomber.
Raindrops danced with the duck weed and sang with the sail.
Mist on the welled up wave made the scenery pale.
Suddenly, all black clouds were dispersed by the fresh wind.
The sun shone again and the water resumed bright-skinned.
Life was variable and who could foresee.
Tourists had a good day and cheered happily.

蘆萍耀旭映嘉湖 , 早覓高朋興不孤。會所茶樓堪雅聚 ; 屏山文物樂踟躇。
淺灘紅樹橫天趣 ; 后海新橋入景殊。邊境流連耽妙句 , 蜿蜒西鐵繪歸圖。

Visit Tian-Shui-wei【By Charles Wu】
Reed and duck weed in the lake welcome the rising sun.
I visit my learned friend in his countryside mansion.
The nearby club house is an elegant place to drink tea.
Historical relic of Ping-shan can be seen without fee.
At the shoal, mangrove makes an interesting horizon.
A new bridge is built to link up the China region.
Touring the border, I ponder to write this poem.
With the Western Railway, go home is not a problem.

Western Kowloon of Hong Kong is the district where I live.
Early in the morning, singing birds are very active.
In the garden, my walking along the path does begin.
I am fascinated by the pretty flowers therein.

This fan-like plant has a kind heart but an ugly face.
Its green leaves open to the sunshine near the stream space.
Like the mercy palms of Buddha, they overcast the shore.
In such quiet and cool place, ants build their cave and store.

Short trees along the bank are covered by dim misty rain .
A lonesome traveler is annoyed by the crowing crane.
The water of Yellow River is the most merciless.
It surges forward and erodes the soil without kindness.

Evil wind shakes the trees while black clouds are gathering.
Thunder roars above the willow dyke after Lightning.
Violent rain storm attacks the earth like fighting ants.
They beat green leaves with red flowers and mud of all plants.

To Write Poem In A Temple【By Charles Wu】
With the clouds floating by the temple Po-lin arises high   
Where I spent the night and wrote poems to inscribe.
The foggy mist hazed the mountains and spring trees
The rosy cloud immerses in the aglow when sun sets
The tolling bells broken loud to call visitors attention
Yet the visitors stroll in ease on cane without rushing.
Liberating is true practice to deep meditation and relief
Both Poet and Monk never succeed thru their debates

Buddhism is an endless study and practice.
Chanting scriptures at the temple resumes your calmness.
Morning rosy clouds bake the sky where birds fly.
Yellow leaves on the ground crackle as the monks walk by.
All meditate on Buddhist patriarch's speech piously.
Calligraphers write the well-known phrases as their duty.
Having no desire but a pure mind makes you wise.
The fragrant smells of vegetable dishes then arise.

Hong Kong and Taiwan were attacked by epidemic disease.
The calamity of SARS killed a lot of Chinese.
The busy shopping centers became deadly quiet.
All merchants were indolent and lost their target.
Doctors made long faces with knitted eyebrows.
Even wife could not accompany her sick spouse.  
People earnestly prayed to the God for blessing.
The pestilence evil would be forever leaving !

To Watch The Wild Geese【By Charles Wu】
The wild geese chase the warm sun from north to the south.
Beside the autumn moon, they fly with song in each mouth.
The bird soldiers conquer the sky and line up in good order.
At the sandy fields of the marsh where reeds grow, they gather.
Down from dusk clouds, they sleep at land surrounded by water.
At dawn, the journey starts again higher and farther.
They migrate to foreign place just to avoid the cold weather.
Wise persons do the same to make their living better.

Wealth bewitches the clear thinking of common people.
Some have no conscience thus inviting discord apple.
The jobless Su-qin was teased by the wife of his brother;
As a high official, Chen became a marriage traitor.
Singers will fawn upon you after receiving money.
Having poor harvest, farmers will not be happy.
Rich and powerful rank are but a visionary dream.
Content with your flowers, you will lead a life of supreme.
