幽棲欲築海棠巢 , 野外屯門結小茅。遠寺鐘聲傳戶內 ; 平林鳥語出山坳。
湖光夑幻晨昏耀 ; 竹韻悠揚風雨敲。陋室清談唯煮茗 , 吟詩對句有知交。

My House At Tun-men【By Charles Wu】
I am prepared to spend the rest of my life in China.
Tun-men is the quiet place for me to build a villa.
Bell sound can be heard from the distant temple.
Birds often twitter in the nearby forest of maple.
At dawn and dusk, the lake looks beautiful with mangrove.  
Wind and rain create easy rhythm in the bamboo grove.
To chant poems with my bosom friends is a good choice.
In a simple room, we drink tea; we chat and we rejoice.

Plum Shadow On My Desk【By Charles Wu】
The rising moon on the plum tip shines on my window.
My reading room is dimly dredged with plum shadow.
I may get my luxurious house and beauty from books.
I can learn “Tang” poems and “Han” articles in ancient looks.
After study of seal characters, my mind will broaden.
Using “Yi” divination, I can tell your fortune.
Knowing virtuous persons from books, I act humbly.
Still, I try to escape the ridicule of the plum fairy.

In the coast of Hawaii, the big wave rolls up so high.
With the surfboards, people stand on its crest and fly.
Suddenly they slide down as if being swallowed.
They come out safely and sound of cheer is bestowed.

At home, chanting and writing become my habit.

Meditating as monk, I live like a hermit.

I am often intoxicated by the fragrance of wine.

Calligraphy and music are practised under the pine.

Thinking the use of words, I break some of my beard.

My aim is to keep the quintessence of Chinese culture.

You could also enjoy the scenery of rocky wonder.

Chinese Restaurant【By Charles Wu】
Children are often brought to restaurant by their mother.
We seldom see filial son entertains his father.
Roasted goose with prepared jellyfish can be ordered here.
People eat floodgate crab ; drink “Shao-xing” wine and say “Cheer!”
Enjoying well-known tea, they develop their friendship.
Sometimes, they play mahjong to show their good relationship.
Dear foods are offered in the parties held by rich customers.  
The abalone and sea cucumber cost thousand dollars.

All change to evil spirit and none be a good wife.

Reluctant To Part【By Charles Wu】
I saw my daughter off at the airport and said good-bye.
Nothing could be done about her migration but a sigh.
The crow was a kind bird who fed her old mother.
Falcon loved hunting and was leaving her father.
She migrated to foreign country for a better life.
Married with her boy friend there, she would be a good wife.
Her gray-haired parents gave her many advices at one time.
Take care in future and never waste your time.

The vine blooms orange flowers like fire-cracker.
Winding itself round the canopy, it’s a pretty creeper.
Its small stems with leaves resemble the beard of dragon.
In spring, it flickers as rosy clouds in the garden.

When wind blows, green palm waves to salute

That melon size round ball is its Bearing fruit.
